I don't believe you have to be a US resident...
I found this on the website

| My husband and I just signed up for separate ING accts on Friday. Since today is a holiday I will verify the acct. tomorrow. If all goes well I'll take my $ from the credit union and put it in ING. The rate is double! |

from their website...
24-hour access to your funds, and you don't even have to change banks.
An Orange Savings Account makes your money available to you whenever you need it. When you open your account, it is automatically linked to your current checking account used for your initial deposit. You can make deposits or withdraw funds by transferring money online, through our Interactive Phone Service, or by speaking with an ING DIRECT Sales Associate.
In order to get a $25 bonus, you need to get a referal from a member. If you sign up direct you will not get the bonus. If you would like a referal PM me and I can send it to you. |

| I have also read about ING on the DIS boards. It sounds interesting, but I guess I am a big scaredy cat when it comes to investing. I really dont understand it much. |

| I look at it as a vacation savings fund! I'm signing my kids up and using the money to surprise my husband in a couple months so when he says we can't go I can say oh yes we can, here is a little extra money. |

| I have definately thought about opening an ING account. I have 3 kids, and thought I could open one up for me, and the 3 of them. I am still trying to figure this whole thing out though. I would hate to put my money in this account and not have access to it if I needed to. Does anyone have the website so I can look at their information? |

I opened a ING account for myself, husband and five children.
I have plenty of referrals if anyone needs one. E-mail your name and e-mail address and I will send you a referral. You get $25 and I get $10.
Happy Savings!!!!!!!!!!!! |
