I will be instituting fines for personal verbal attacks on other members.
These include but are not limited to our number one offending attack:
-Insulting someones intelligence.
Examples:
Wrong- "You are an idiot if you believe that!"
Correct- "I disagree with your opinion."
Wrong- "Here you go again with your stupid thinking!"
Correct- "We've discussed this before and I do not agree."
Wrong- "You don't usually say anything intelligent, but I finally agree."
Correct- "We finally agree on something!"
Fines will be a percentage of your entire net worth.
1st offence: 5% of your net worth
2nd offence: 25% of your net worth
3rd offence: 100% of your net worth
4th offence: Banning.
If you do not have enough liquid e$ to cover your fine your holding/items will be sold until the fine is paid off.
There is a right way and a wrong way to debate. Personal Verbal Attacks will not be tolerated. |

| Will fines be subject to public disclosure or done in private? |

| They will be public notifications. However the offending post will be deleted. |

Sounds good to me.
Maybe the 3 offense could be 75% or something, lol. I guess by then you've had it already anyway.

| I agree in a way as long as you can still have disagreement but with the put-downs left out. I hope this isn't turning into a childs forum. But all around I guess a good idea to put a stop to some of the remarks. |

I don't believe I'm even going to ask which thread prompted this...
Good job, Benjamin. Layin' out the ground rules for the larger number of people coming into our world here (as well as our rowdier citizens...). |

I'm sorry if my... debates... bother anyone. I try to exercise restraint, but after a certain amount of time I give into frustration.
As I said in the other thread, I'm done talking to Grim. Cold turkey has never felt so liberating. |
