I'll give you a big tip...
after spending most of my college career drunk and having my gpa and wallet suffer I decided to switch. Switch to 153 proof whole grain alcohol that is. My motto is: you only live once, so why do it sober. It costs $11 bucks at ABC for the small bottle and $23 for the big one. Since its oderless, tasteless colorless etc you can mix it with anything and one shot will get you buzzed. A small bottle usually lasts me a week excluding parties. A big bottle lasts me almost a month again excluding parties. Its the best bang for the buck.
Whenever Im drinking out I usually get vodka and redbull to wake up or jagerbomb- jager and redbull. Long island iced tea's whenever I feel like spending some dough and whatever is the cheapest/free everytime else. I'm the only person I know that likes miller high life, which is good since it's cheap and nobody steals my beer. |

| I still think that drinking is a waste of money. In an earlier post it was mentioned that college gpa and his wallet suffered. Why would you want to go through life being drunk all the time? It doesnt make any sense. Why do you feel the need to drink all of the time? Is life really that bad? |

My parents have nothing to do with me, sore point but it's ok since you don't know me. I am putting myself through college. I have two jobs plus I go to school part time. I'm in a dual degree program right now where I'm getting my bachelors and master degrees together in architecture and urban and regional planning respectivly as well as minoring in philosophy. Oh and my gpa didn't suffer too much its a 3.2 but should probably be around 3.7.
I don't know your background but I know that where I come from drinking among other things is a very large part of life. It's unfortunate that where I grew up, Martin County Florida, is the richest county in the country for the last several years but it is also in the top ten for high school drug abuse, alcohol & drug related deaths and alcohol related car deaths, all per capita. Basically no violence and no sobriety.
So to make a long story longer, where I come from nobody, at least me or anyone I know including my guardians cared much about it, since they were the ones that got me drunk first when I was just a young rugrat. It's not that I drink to wash away pain or whatever other reason you hear at the meetings its just how I was nurtured. Exactly the same as how you where raised in a dry house or in a strict orthadox house or whatever gave you the view that alcohol is bad. I was just giving out my knowledge in a field that I have lots of experience with. |

| Seems like you are doing pretty good in college. For some reason I jumped to the conclusion that your gpa was suffering to a higher degree then that. I understand what you are saying about the stucture in which a person is raised makes a huge difference in the way they view different things. In my house alcohol is rarely consumed. My mom gets sick after one drink and my dad does not like the way it tastes. |

| Alcohol can preserve alot of things unfortunatly brain cells are not one of them. My comment comes from my personal experiences with alcohol and the effect that it has had on people I care about in my life. Maybe a small amount won't hurt you but in excess you will have serious health problems. This is just my opinion and I'm only one in couple of hundred million! Take it for what its worth, I just hate to see anyone treat alcohol lightely! |

I totally agree. I'm sure that there is a strong possability that I will have problems in the future but for now I don't see it as a problem. Just like we as a nation don't see our dependance on oil as a problem. But once gas prices get to the levels europeans pay we will be pretty upset. If I started failing classes or not being able to pay my bills alcohol will be the first thing to go.
I kinda like this posting stuff I'm getting a whole dump load of e$ for all this  and in a couple more posts I'll be on the active poster list. I wish it worked like that in real life, the more you talk the more money you make. |

exactly. I posted before about a stock I was holding that was doing good, nice steady growth, then on cramers show he mentioned it and it shot through the roof the next day. Then the day after that it nose dived to levels below where it was when cramers said it was a good buy. So now if I ever hear him mention any stock I'm holding I will dump it the next day.
It's insane that he has such control over the market. He should charge companies for mentioning them since he has that much pull. |
