Hi, my name is Joseph, I go by the alias BallJacker. I've been investing for over a year, but before that I was interested in Stocks and the Market. Mainly I played around with Mutual Funds, in my 401K from work. I'm a firm believer that anyone can beat the S&P500 if they put thier mind and their money into it. Heck even a 9 year old can pick a better portfolio than some of these fund managers.
90% of my prorfolio mainly consists of Mutual Funds, CDs and a few long term positions, recomended by my conservative broker. The other 10% is my Stock Portfolio, Mad Money, which I used to test my skills as a investor and prove my conservative broker/banker wrong.

Welcome! You sure seem to be proving your skills here!
I have to agree, keep most of the money safe, but have a little fun with some, I remember a Fool article that said this was the best way to go. Otherwise, you'll just do average, like all the average people out there.
