Here's something I would like to suggest for consideration... provide more e$ for longer posts? As one of the more "wordy" posters, it seems like a nice, long, well thought out post with examples and links and whatnot would be worth more than a simple one-liner post.

But that just could be me being greedy. Twisted Evil

Then there are some that paste in news stories and other info though. I don't think that they should get a big bonus just for copying and pasting.

I don't know if people realize they can donate e$ to other members. If someone posts something good and it helps you or you learn something it's worth throwing some e$ their way. Smile

How about this?

Now when you start a post everytime someone replies you get an extra 10 eInvesting$. So now this way if you can get others involved or your topic is popular you can make some extra cash.

Not exactly what you had in mind, but lets see how this goes.

Good point. I had not thought of that aspect.

It sounds like a worthy experiment! Thanks.

I like that in this forum you don't get more e$ for starting a new topic than from replying. In some forums people use it to gain more e$ and that way pollute the forum.

So don't change that.

Well like it was said, people shouldn't be credited, but I think the new system is interesting. Lets see how it goes...

Keystrokes thoughtfully struck? Ought to be worth more than cut'n'paste. Donating e$ is a nice way to thank someone for a worthwhile post. -Zer (who runs prolix at the best of times -- and worse than that at the worst!)

I was wondering if the ATTABOY posts paid off. -Zer (considering posting more ATTABOYs if that is the case)

I was wondering, what exactly is the reward structure for posts. I have noticed that so far they range anywhere from 207 to 3XX.

I think its been raised to 50 e$... Ben hit a generosity streak, although the inflation around here has been killer lately.
