Maybe we can think of other items there are 3 of and if someone has it you can try to trade or buy something from them.
Anything that makes your e$ worth something or of some value to everyone is a good thing. |

Since the idea seems to be going forward...
I think there should be a finite number of more expensive things. I don't know exactly what you have, and I'm probably going to stay away from getting involved with that, but if you only have a few Mercedes (Insert Luxury Car Here), then I think it would better represent real life. Because of how easily you can build your cash store by being active in the forums, I think you should guard against this kind of "inflation". Maybe make it so that you release a handful of (whatever) each month? |

Perhaps we could remove the portfolio value and e$ values from the posts (still keep the open in the profiles perhaps?) and simply show someone's networth.
Cumulative value of portfolio, cash, and items. |

Would the game start the same every month? How 'bout starting the month with $5,000 instead of $1000 so you could get more things done inside the 1-month span of the contest? |

Actually, all the e$ you ever make, items you purchase, or investments you make will always be yours.
The only thing that starts over every month is your portfolio % to begin a new competition and the 10 post requirement to qualify. |
