The problem is that it creates a lot of work for the moderator to try to give points based on the content of the post. It's hard enough to run a website like this already. Perhaps someday they might find it worthwhile to hire someone just for this purpose, but I doubt it.

It doesn't just have to be up to the Admins/Mods. If someone posts something that you find particularly helpful you can always donate some extra e$ to them for the effort.

Plus donating (even with funny money) can make you feel pretty good. Wink

The thing is that it takes some realism away earning money just by writing messages that wouldnt happen in real life, but still every one is so greedy that they just dont care about giving realism to the game so they just go and post.

I think it can add realism.

Just like in real life you have a job that gives you income. Whats unrealistic is the amount of your posting earnings you would invest with.

It is an interesting idea though. Make the site where you needed to budget for a house, car, taxes, bills and such, the stock market sim would just be a piece of a bigger puzzle we call life.

Awww, eLife.com is taken. Wink

Even if you don't have advice to offer, you probably have questions to ask that others can answer... thats how some of us make our e$. Wink
As you probably notice, lots of threads kind of drift off-topic, and I don't necessarily think thats a bad thing. More information (and hence learning) tends to come from random discussions, so don't be shy.
