Is your 401k down this year? Mine sure is! If it isn't how did you manage that?

I'm down 22% for the year...someone make me feel better and post a bigger loss! Or not.

Vote in the POLL!

1st a disclaimer. I am where I am because, financially, I'm the biggest coward in the world! I don't use the pen name "Chicken Little" by accident Wink

Back in January I got burned about 5%. In March, I got lucky and caught the rise. Between the two....I'm up a wopping 1.1% (government bonds don't pay much Razz )

I'm very much interested in getting back in the market.....but I don't think were where we need to be yet. IBM came out strong today, and there was a nice "pop" in August home sales.....so it's looking better. However, the government just sent my a 7 month T-Bill offer at over 4%.

So....as usual.....life is full of choices, choices have consequences....and I'm staying CD's and T-Bills for now.

Just call me "C.L." LOL Embarassed
