When Da Reaper trades excessively in order to earn more in commissions.

For example, if 1 out of every 20 subscribers to a high-speed Internet connection discontinued his or her connection every year, the churn rate for that Internet provider would be 5%.

Churn rate is also sometimes called attrition rate. It is one of two primary factors that determine the steady-state level of customers a business will support.

In its broadest sense, churn rate is a measure of the number of individuals or items moving into or out of a collection over a specific period of time.

The term is used in many contexts, but is most widely applied in business with respect to a contractual customer base. For instance, it is an important factor for any business with a subscriber-based service model, including mobile telephone networks and pay TV operators. The term is also used to refer to participant turnover in peer-to-peer networks.

The phrase is based on the English idiom "to churn up", meaning to agitate or produce violent motion.

Ackchooly, in da past 2 mumphs 90% o'my trades were in the same 2 plays...both ov which will duble (minimum) from current levels. As I menchund on many occayzhuns....da werst pawt of ANY move to long term top or long term DA BOTTOM is da very last move as thangs become so "obvious" dat everybudy wants in...or wants out! Embarassed Although my current retoin shows a "slight" Miss Calculation it wud appear...and I now have meself basically trapped since I am purt near outta cash (which "shud" reduce my chern rate Very Happy ), da entries I have made will generate reckerd single mumph retoins fer dis site right cheeeya. "If" I kin git within 20% of a long term top or DA BOTTOM on each n every trade I made I wud be legendary....which ov course I already am cept most fokes doan realize it yet. Cool A GOOG example ov what I bees sayin is my recent trade in HYTM or FRPT in real $$$. I bailed with small losses in each case. "If" i chose to hold FRPT I wuda ended up with appx a 15% gain....ifn I held HYTM I wuda ended up mit a 25% gain from my entry points. But!....knowing fer a fackt dat HYTM n FRPT will be taking out recently set 52 week lows by at least 30%....I decided to move on to more ferrtle passchures. Very Happy It doan mattah how much you churn em OR bern em....cept ta say dat ifn ya daytrade you are destined to lose over time...specially ifn yu have no idea bout what yer wepun ov choice has in store for it. Looka CHIPs n deeeeps fer instunce. You kin day er swing trade datn til yer blue in da face. But!...ifn ya have no clue dat it has a date mit sub $2 dallahs in da future Arrow I gar-own-tee you will lose muny cause yer entry points will be wrong....and dat'll cause you ta git whoopsawed in n out tryin ta guess what happens next. Da net results? Arrow You lose! Very Happy

The churn rate is based in all the buy/sell transactions performed by the users in the forum ?

I've been watching FRPT for a while now myself, not making any real or play money moves on it for now, just watching it. Something has been funny with them lately... "*Financial Status Indicator is Delinquent: Issuer Missed Regulatory Filing Deadline" I will wait for them to post the earnings reports, I would hate to jump in blind for over two quarters. Any word on what's going on with them.
