GM is going nowhere but down. It's plain and simple. Oil is going to $200 and they make oil guzzlers that will be harder and harder to sell.

The following is an excerpt from msn money...

DALLAS (AP) - The chief executive of General Motors Corp. dismissed speculation that the largest U.S. automaker might soon seek bankruptcy protection. Comments in the past week about a potential bankruptcy are "not at all constructive or accurate," Rick Wagoner said Thursday.
GM has $24 billion in cash and $7 billion in unused credit facilities, he said.
Last week, a Merrill Lynch analyst cut his rating on GM stock and said "bankruptcy is not impossible" .... Shocked Confused Rolling Eyes Twisted Evil

Ackchooly, we "shud be" mo concernd wit VLO than GM. I mean...GM "shud be" gettin crushed afta what Earl did agin taday. VLO on da udder hand be in da energy seckter. Shocked Can Jinxie really have dat much effect on da POS? Laughing Now he gotsta make it triple in value jist ta git da 2 fer 1 stock split he bees waitin fer at $100 dallahs. Shocked GM ackchooly sloooowed down taday at the very last seckond as it twas hangin on by da fanger nails. Mo selling balow dat initial 9.42 low and it meant MUCH lower prices.....insted it rallied thru $10 offa dat low....and den came in wit a "lower low"....which falls right in line mit what I wuz spekkin about at dat dere BRLC bored earlier taday. Wink Sure....9.32 bees a "stoopid" numbah ta stop a selloff at.....but it sho beats holding VLO long. Based on da "new n improved" trend low taday at 33.20...dat POS now has a date wit sub $20 at sumtime in da future. Shocked Sumbody pleez remembah da 33.20 numbah I jist trowed at ya's. There will come a time I "might" be intrusted in VLO.....I'm wreckin it needs ta git cut in 1/2 at least 2 mo time first however. I may fergit da impotant numbahs I trow at ya's. I like WNR bettah anyhoo.....aren'tcha glad ya selded datn when I teld ya to? Cool Arrow Wink Arrow Embarassed
