I heard of a truck strike soon because of diesel prices. I found out that this year, if gas and diesel prices stay where they are it could cost one truck driver or company per truck $60,000-$70,000 a year just in fuel.
And the gas company's can't make any more diesel than they already are,
because there is so much of a demand for diesel right now, with diesel jeeps, cars, suv's, trucks, ect. I love diesel and what it can do but this is getting crazy with these gas prices. But I gess the gas company's are going to expand so I am going to wait and see. |

Hey...I doan blame da truckers. Da Bush regime has pretty much driven jist about every industry to the point of BK. Chrysler had to shut down production for 2 weeks in June because (not only is demand waaaay off, which "shud be" obvious), but many of the parts soopliers are soon ta go bust. Check out VC which sopplies F fer instunce. This moanin CNBC did a repote on how da hedgies have leveraged up from $12 billion ta $42 billion in the past 2 years jist in corn alone! Even da farmers are saying da prices being paid are nutso....yet da govmint keeps subsidizing da grains.....whilst the grain elevators who must hedge in da futures mawkets go bust. Oooooh well, I guess we can always ship our grain from Iowa to Cali by rail....and then overseas to India so they can store it till we need it....then we simply ship it back to the US. Hey!...it'll be ALOT cheeper! |

| Hey, I really feel sorry for the truckers. I have a Uncle who is one and he said that there may be a 2 week trucking shut down, because of the diesel prices. And I am not talking just his company. He has been talking to other truckers from Chicago to the west coast and back. And they keep saying it could happin' in April. But I have heard of this before and it did not happin'. But there has to be something done about gas and diesel prices. |

Well, tell yer uncle to relax n rest assured cause da Reaper is werkin haaaawd to bring down da house ov cawds dat was built by the biggest terrorist we will EVER see in our lifetimes George W. Bush. Tell yer uncle ta stawt watchin oil stawtin tamarrah. I am still gar-own-teeing a one day down move of $10 dallahs You kin imagine what dat be gonna do to da price o'gas n diesel at da pump. Basides, the rail companies takin da bidness away from da truckers are about to go bust. Keep yer eye on Cramer fave CSX as it begins the looooong jurney to sub $20....it'll be trading at $35-$40 by this time next week in fackt. Regretfully I am gonna hasta bring EVERYTHING down in a heap ov smokin ruins to unwind this mess. But trust me! You will thank me lattah ooooooon. |

Don't get me wrong but who will end up paying for this strike or any other strike? Our politicians are to blame for this mess we are in. Why haven't they pushed for more funding of real answer alternate energy sources? Corn based ethanol is insane for the return on investment and do you see what's going on in the grocery stores with their pricing? Reminds me of big oil gas stations.... As I've said before....we went to the moon in 10 years why not be rid of oil in that time frame???? |

I guess I will be doing my part in conserving by not yelling at my kids when they don't flush the toilet from now on. Also I'm feeling so motivated, I suppose I can start wearing the same clothes for 3 or 4 days before throwing them in the wash! It probably wouldn't hurt to skip a shower now and again also. |

Whatchu tawkin bout Willis?!! Da Paul A Tisshuns be doin theya job. Now dat it be waaaay too late ta solve da problum bafo it getses too big....they are over-reacting....which'll make thangs werser ov course. Look what da govna dunn did in Fla....givedid fokes a chance ta duble their Homested Tax exemption from $25K ta $50K. Sho...you's gonna pay less taxes on yer house....which ya wuda dunn did anyhoo since ya kin ALREADY buy shacks fer LESS than tax assessed values...BUT! They "may not" be no firemans ta come put out da fire burnin yer house down cause ya left da fry greese simmerin on da stove whilst Oprah was on! Noooo tax revenue fo da cities n towns? No critical soiveces. Like I always say Ooooooh well. |

My purrdixshun fer Earl (based on da trackin fund USO) is STILL valid USO will trade down $10 dallahs in a single day. Da bottom line wit plays like USO, MOS, POT, LNN, and Cramer's seckond attempt to relieve his flock ov idiots from 50% ov dere muny in FSLR like he did da last time it was up at these levels is this The same type o'sentiment dat caused da teck n housing bubbles is now taking place in mosta da commodititty areas. The same fokes who caused da housing bubble (hedgies in concert wit da muny runner banks) are now deeply involved in da commodititty sitcheeeyayshun. You kin bet dat the S.E.C. and da Fed is carefully watching the balance sheets ov da fine financial instatooshuns dat were da culprits bahind da housing bubble as da funds are STLL being lent to da Hedgies to leverudge themselves. At da foist sign dat leverage is beginning ta unwind da hedgies will be reigned in wit quick margin calls which will lead to a MAASIVE wave of selling in da most highly levrudged seckters....and ov course dat be where da NEXT bubble lies. A veeeery simple solushun to da problem wud be fer da govmint to simply say "We will stop adding to da strateegeric Earl resoive"....er better yet..."if" da Saudi Earl minister decided to increase produckshun by say 2 millyun barrels per day there would be a sharp n violent drop in Earl prices....gas wud fall to $2.50/gal at da pump in 2 weeks......and da funk da Americun cunsumer is in wud be "half way' ta being solved. Insted, da morons in Congress decided it is best to once agin try and manipulate da mawkets by finding a salooshun to da problem in da housing mawkets by giving da homebuilders incentives ta build even MORE homes! In the end (if we as citizuns doan spek out)...the same ding dang dilly dern thang will happen as happuned mit Bernanke's attempt to rescue da mawkets in Aug....and mit da wave ov rate cuts throo Jan. We will have continously lower trending home prices until da mawkets complete da final adjusto. Why?...cause ya CANNOT fool da mawkets! Noooow, I am doin all I can ta make sho da proper adjusto comes bafo any mo mistakes are made by da polatishuns. I SIRIously doubt dat da Fed shivagits ifn a bunch of frenzied Earl n commodititty idiots get their butts whooped and I doubt da fed will step in ta rescue em when (not if) it happuns since Bernanke already said as much. I'm jist sooprised I didn git a "thank you" call from Bernake on da Reaper Hotline fer what I dunn ta BSC. Theeeya ainna NO WAY Bernanke wuda bin able ta use taxpayer muny ta buy BSC performing assets at probly less than .20 centavos on da dallah ifn BSC wasn't valued at $2 on March 16th. When I'm dunn wit LEH, C, and yes...JPM itself and they find dat even a $2 price fer BSC wassa too much I'll see ifn I git da call from Burndanke then. |
