I invented a new e$ incentive game. This one is tough so it pays $25000 e$ if you are correct about any purrdixshun you make at this bored. My premise for this game is that at tops o'da mawket there are buyouts made because companies don't know what to do with all the estree muny they don't deserve.....so they waste it frivously by buying out competitors and "strategic partners" that are already 100% overvalued and add an estreee 20-30% premium on top o'dat! Very Happy Many times the buyout price is based on the price of the buying company. "Simply" purrdict a recent buyout that falls apart in 1 year and win $25000. I'll start with a purrdickshun dat the gold pig stock NG will git their buyout offer pulled. When the news finally comes out (within 1 year fron today) hopefully Ben pays me $25000. Very Happy Make up to 5 purrdixshuns at any given time....that be da limit.

OK, I will add these 2 stocks to my list o'buyouts gone bad stocks. I SIRIiously doubt that the proposed buyout of OS by a Russian company/govmint will ever materialize...I also think the gapup price will be breached however. Therefore, since I am making this purrdixshun based on da chawts and what I know about OS based only on da chawts...for now I say I would avoid the chort position until price gets closer to 64.40 although long term outta da muny puts would be just fine. No freakin way Russia is buyin a U.S. steel company...no way! If they do and you also see China buying U.S. petroleum companies you will find out how da powers dat be plan on eliminating excesses Arrow Use all the werthless U.S. dollars the Chinese have stashed away to buy overpriced U.S. companies at the top o'da chawts! Laughing This is truly an awesome plan fo da fokes lookin ta git rich by takin advantage of da masses who doan matter. But are you gonna just sit there whilst everybody takes over America? I sho ain't! Wink

The other one I have pending is POS....which BTW really is a POS....they halted this pig fo news pending yesterday. Ifn ya wanna "SIM cheat" it will probably run another 10% when it opens....never mind....I just checked da chawt and see it did open. I'd wait fer $32+...although POS isn't quite as overpriced as say AAPL...I still think the deal falls apart if it is confirmed as a valid offer to buy.

Sidenote: I see my initial pick NG has acted volatile since the buyout offer was placed and even gave up 10% of the inital gains....dat be a good sign fer my purrdixshun I'm wreckin. Very Happy

Reaper- I read some of them, you didn't miss a thing. Hopefully our new friend will settle down a bit, and join our little community. We can always use new views and outlooks.

Our buddy Chris got a little carried away with posting some really useless stuff, but I went Dave Rathbun style and flexed my moderator muscles to remove the offending material.
Although I have to admit, his one post consisted of "I am the walrus", which I found to be amusing. Laughing
