Take a good look at your monthly expenses and see if you can save with any competitor's services.
Like cable TV, cell phone, home phone service, etc. All these bills have a way of creeping up slowly over time. Check out competitors and switch or combine to get better service/lower bill. For example, by getting a better cell plan with unlimited long distance you can lower your 'wired' phone bill a lot. Also, maybe combining your internet w/cable TV can save. Don't just take for granted that these 'fixed' expenses in your budget are really all that fixed. You maybe able to negotiate or change to a much lower cost. |

| This is so true. We have started looking at everything. We were paying $5.99 per month for long distance. We never make a long distance call. If we do, we can use a cell phone with free long distance. It doesn't seem like a lot of money, but everything adds up. |

| At one time we did this too. Our biggest surprise was that we could get satellite tv for less than we had been paying for cable. For less momney per month! |
