hey, for some reason the sim is not calculating the monthly rate correctly.
My Return for the month when I checke earlier today was about +1%. Most of the stocks in my port. were in the red for theday. All but two came back for positive growth for the day, and somhow I'm at a -27% for the month.
what gives?? |

| This is a problem that occurs from time to time if the Yahoo Finance quotes don't process correctly. Don't worry, nothing is broken, it should be fixed on the next update or so - look again in 20 minutes or so, and if its still not correct click on the "monthly return" button at the bottom of your list of portfolio holdings. |

When your portfolio is updated on the 15-minute increments there are times when Yahoo burps and reports a bunch of stocks at zero dollars. When that happens, you'll see a bunch of folks with really odd (and generally large negative) returns.
You can fix yours by clicking on the "Manage Your Portfolio" link on the top of the page, and then selecting the "Monthly Return" option at the bottom of your portfolio display. That will request a new set of Yahoo quotes just for your portfolio, which generally cleans things up. |
