| I just joined a couple days ago and I'm still just figuring out what is going on here, but here's an intro. I'm late 20s and I'm an automation controls engineer. I became interested in investing when I was 16 and had an economics teacher that was a millionaire from investing from a teacher's salary. I read his suggested readings of Lynch and Buffet, but had no money to invest. Finally, a decade later I have a little money to invest and I'm ready to learn again. So my little education about investing is from a fundamental analysis point of view. |

Here's one fo da funnymentalists....I've heard this argument at least 4 times on CNBC over the past 2 days since the housing numbers came out. Mostly....anal-ysts agree that the housing markets are slowing, and people are tapped out on the home teller machine (or at least they realize that there will not be additional funds credited to their home teller bank account like over the past 3 years because home appreciation is slowing).....yet everybody still thinks that commodities are a good place to invest right now. Can one of you funny funnymentalists please splain how the slowdown in housing is going to cause an increase in demand for copper, steel, lumber, fuel, etc?  Or are yuns guys jist whistlin past da graveyard?  |
