There is a book out called, "No Load Stocks". It was published in the late 90's I believe. I have been looking for an updated version, but to no avail.
The book details companies that you can buy stock from directly, forgoing the broker's fees (hence the title: No Load). I used the book. It lists the companies names, details of the companies, addresses and all contact information. There are a number of fortune 500 companies listed.
I need to find my copy. I'm sure many of the companies still have a no load. I'm interested in finding information about companies that would be new to the list! |

for the ultimate noload, you really need to read Missed fortune 101, by Douglas R Andrew.
Without a doubt the best finance book I have ever read. |

Thanks, JBoone I'll have to look into that book!
And thank you, mrsboz for the well wishes. I did find a copy online that was very inexpensive. I'll probably just buy another one. It is worth it. |
