Why do you say no? The point of this is to share reasoning. Wink

I too have been completely befuddled by this stock. On a cash-flow basis, the stock is worth a MINIMUM of $15, and thats completely pissing on its ability to grow. I've followed this during its cryptic descent from $20, and every day it drops (and trust me, it seems to drop everyday) just makes it look like a better buy. It missed earnings, and has understandably been punished for that. But I think this is a classic Wall Street overreaction. See: Taiwan Semi (TSM) from July to present. Earnings looked dicey, the stock dropped into the $7s from over $9, and now its over $10 on new earnings strength. But I digress.
I really can't understand this drop. Balance sheet is healthy, and I'm holding it in my portfolio here. Hasn't been nice to me, but I'll stick with it.

Geb, I would pass on this stock. IMHO there are too many other stocks that have momentum going for them. Also I have learned over the years to stay away from low volumn stocks. Just my thoughts.

The reason I am inclined to say no is there are only 8 million shares and only a 31.77% float... this along with the high p/e and missing earns leads me to think this stock is way too volitile for me. Very Happy

Sicilian makes another good point to shy away from this stock!

I posted this stock because of what many people have already mentioned. I could not get a handle on it. It is currently in a downward trend that started back when they missed earnings and has continued on ever since. Even with the miss in earnings the stock has been sold down to a level that I think it is extremely undervalued. The problem is that it continues to go lower and lower. I do not no what I would do with this stock at the current moment. When the growth numbers are adjusted to compensate for the horrible 3rd quarter that they had I still get a target price of over 15 a share. I think in order to better understand the stock we need to look into why they missed earnings so badly. When searching around I noticed that most of the companys in the gaming sector had a bad 3rd quarter. If you look at last year gpic had a bad 3rd quarter but then had a huge 4th quarter. Everything that I look at with this company based off of their growth numbers is telling me that it is undervalued. The problem is that these same numbers said that the stock was undervalued at 14$ and the stock is now trading around $10. I just can not seem to figure it out.

The volume makes for some interesting daily charts... and I don't understand how the % holdings work. Negative percentages, more than 100%... Confused Confused Confused

GPIC continues on its downward trend closing the day at 10.26. When the 4th quarter earnings are released for this stock I have a feeling that there will be big movement.

I agree that we are done with it. It has continued its downward turn. It is now trading around 9.50 a share. Still extremely confused about it. So who wants to pick the one for today?
