Hey, I just thought I'd make this one post with this account to identify myself, I am as my username probably suggests jdunn72. This is my daytrader portfolio. I thought I'd give it a try now that the sim is nice to daytrading activities. I know that looking at the number of trades on my other account it looks like I daytrade already but, I really don't I just reposition myself within the the stocks that meet my criteria, here I will be going into massive movement stocks that have good news or no news that wouldn't support such a drop in a daily price. It is my intent NOT to carry over trades from one day to the next with this account wherever possible. Cool

BTW: I won't be making any more posts with this account Wink

Ben, we should talk more in private, but this is one of the reasons I would like to add a "multi-portfolio" option to the board. So people would not have to create second (and third and fourth) accounts. Only one portfolio would be eligible for the monthly contest, but you could try different strategies.

Plus, you don't have to work so hard to build your capital up. Wink

You know, that would be real cool and it would be even cooler if you wanted to change which portfolio would be held for the competition if you change it on or before the first trading day of the month perhaps.

That would be AWESOME. I'm very interested in being able to try out several different strategies!

That would definitely be EXTREMELY helpful and I would never use Investopedia again, lol. Wink
