How low will the federal reserve go with the interest rates and will this revive the housing market?
I feel the fed is trying to pump new life into the housing market but it is still a glutted market and what will happen when the next round of rate increases on the double mortgage loans? Shocked Twisted Evil

Hey, as long as da banks are willing to negotiate down on loan payoffs fer nonperforming mortgage loans da Fed kin hold tite ifn it wants to. Cool Hysterically and historically spekkin though...once da Fed gets a rolling in a series (more than 1) of Fed funds rate cuts Arrow ...it usually keeps a goin. Wink BTW, the "catch phrase" da banks use when yer tryin ta jawbone em down is Arrow "short sale"...let's make dat phrase da catch phrase fer da RE mawket goin forward fer say oooooh...I dunno....2 years maybe? Very Happy

I think they'll try to cut it too far and cause a temporary revival followed by a deeper drop when people really see that some markets are over-inflated.

A series of Fed rate cuts doan cause revivals...rate cuts are made to stem da tide ov fallin stock prices. Therefore, you won't see any more cuts unless the seckter causin concern takes anudder dumpski. Dat be da financials n housing...in case ya didn notice. Very Happy Sooooo, how does ya know when thangs are REALLY bad in da financial seckter? Arrow Ya look fer da 1 stock in da seckter dat now be deemed bulletproof by da mawkets. Shocked "If" Earl is tradin at say $105 at da same time than I'm sorry....you are in deeeeeep do do. Wink Naturally I'm wreckin ya want me ta werk my majic on Earl n gold n wheat n soybeans n all dat chit....just so da decision wud be eeeeasy fer Bernanke...so I'll see what I kin do. Wink BTW, here's on wit a tradin symbol dat I think you will like Arrow NCST....see ifn ya can gitit at da .99 centavos store. Very Happy
