So which do you want first?
Lets do the bad news...
At this time there is not an easy way to reset everyone at 0% for the start of next month. We are trying to do it in a way so you will not lose what you've done so far and can still see your overall progress. This is possible, but we need more time (should be ready for next month).
On to the good news...
The competition will keep going! Yes Mr. 1000% will win the $10 for May(you can send me your paypal email anytime Investonator, I don't think anyone will catch you), but we will keep pressing on. Keep working at your portfolio! For June we will have a new winner for the best overall portfolio that hasn't won already! So Investonator is out till we can reset it. Sorry Man. This overall winner prize is $10 again via paypal.
But wait, there is more! For all you active users we will have a special contest (We want to reward you)! Everyone that has over 20 posts (by the end of June) competes in a seperate contest. The active user with the highest % gain will win $50 via paypal!!!
So if you haven't posted yet introduce yourself in the Welcome Commitee forum and get posting so your in the active user contest!
http://www.einvesting.com/viewforum.php?f=12
It won't take long to get 20 posts. It's easy...and FUN!

any chance of making this permanant?
also, hoping to see an OPTION of a $5,000 einvesting$ in place of the paypal $. |

I would just like to thank eInvesting Admin for seemingly creating this site ? I used to play the Yahoo investment challenge and it was good fun. I plan on getting into actual investing sometime in the near future and this is a great place to see if you've got what it takes before you go out to make or lose real money |

I was really surprised myself aswell.
How did I do it?
Well, I have a blog where I give stock alerts every Monday based on technical analysis (they hold the stocks for one week only).
So I had my eyes on a stock, namely ABMD and on Thursday the trading session was stopped. The stock was priced at 0.01 dollars or was it 0.001 (don't ask me why) and I saw a big unrealistic gain in there (unrealistic because in real life it couldn't have taken place).Of corse the stock price was corrected later and that made my profit.

Thanks for explaining that. Its too bad stuff like that can't be pulled off in real life. |

actually I could've done it in real life aswell, but I wouldn't have got the stocks for that price. Take a look at the charthttp://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=ABMD&t=5d
If I had the account I would've done it in real life... too bad I didn't have it.. |
