Hey Dave, by any chance did you see my last reply?? Very Happy

Yeah, I did. Smile Sorry for not responding right away. It's certainly possible, and I'll get it added to the list. Right now there's not much development time available (due to personal time constraints) the rest of this month.

Well considering how much time you recently put in to make additions here, it doesn't surprise me one bit, lol. Very Happy

Hi! I'm new to the forum and have not started my portfolio though I already have suggestions, but more like features that I like added because some of them were already suggested. In decreasing order of importance:

1. Limit/Stop/Stop Limit orders
2. Sell short/Buy to cover orders
3. Trailings % stops
4. Borrowing on margin
5. Watch List
6. Alerts

Plus...anyone heard of logical orders and trade triggers? I've never used them but some guys may find them handy. Lowtrades offer logical orders while Ameritrade offer trade triggers. Not sure if other brokers offer them. How about a graph of your portfolio? And how does one account for dividends?

Yea a watch list would be cool.

New Idea:
Like you pay a certain amount each month so NO ONE can see your portfolio.

Another Idea:

Interesting idea, I like it.

Not going to happen.

What is going to happen, in fact it's in the works now, is that stocks with a lesser delay (NASDAQ) will have their delay set per their exhange delay rate. Removing it altogether will never happen because of reasons detailed in the FAQ.

It would really be nice to be able to trade OTC Bulletin Board and Pink Sheets stocks...or is that already possible?

We're missing on $2 and above stocks like CWPC.OB, XSNX.OB, XTHN.OB, GSCP.OB, URME.OB, URRE.OB, HYBT.OB, PBEGF.PK, COSWF.PK, ITKG.OB, UEYCF.PK, CLLZF.PK, PWTFF.PK, and many many more!

.OB and .PK stocks are eliminated from the game because they change symbols too often, resulting in a lot of maintenance. There's no list that I'm aware of at this time that you can subscribe to in order to get symbol changes.

Ok so here's another thought for "easy E$". Since we have poker how about a weekly or monthly "lottery" Buy a ticket for $100.00 e$ winner take all?

Good thing I stopped buying lottery tickets!

Hey Good Idea!

How do I pick a winner though? Random number? I can't make tons of different tickets in the store, but I can make a lot of 1 kind.

Let me know if you have any ideas.

Why can we not trade in odd lots? Since we only have 5000e$ to start and if I want to buy DELL, that would take up more than 50% of my portfolio if I buy 100 shares. Realistically, you can buy odd lots from your broker.

I was just checking the "View the Rankings" page and I thought we could add a "Top 10 (or 20) biggest percentage gainers and losers" for daily, weekly, and since inception (since the account was opened). Also we can perhaps identify the biggest movers by showing them as bold green for biggest move up and bold red for biggest move down.

For example my portfolio was -23% 2 weeks ago but now my portfolio is something 2% AND STILL RISING. Cool Wink

You should be able to buy in odd lots... now I usually buy in larger blocks but I don't remember ever having a problem when I bought odd lots with a smaller portfolio.

Interesting idea, but we don't currently keep all of the information required to do that. We have recently started keeping account history, and have plans to retroactively calculate that back to January 2006. We'll have to see what can be done.
