Are there any plans to implement the ability to sell partial shares? Currently, the only way to do something like that is to sell all of them and some back. However, every time I do that, I lose another $10 in "commissions".
Out of curiosity, are there actually any planned improvements or changes for the simulator? Everything works great so far and I haven't actually had any problems or complaints.  |

The other problem besides the the commission is it's good to be able to sell off some stock for a profit, but hold on to some where you had bought it still to see what happens.
This was a bit tricky programming-wise, but it is planned for phase 2 along with showing your portfolio value next to yout eInvesting$ (another tricky one).
Phase 2 should go into effect in May sometime, along with the Portfolio Percentage Contest.

| Heh, if we are offering suggestions of what we would like to see...I would like to also add the ability to short stocks or write calls/puts. I don't intend to see this for a while on this simulator though. It seems like we are still at the larval stage. |

| Does Yahoo (the quote engine for the portfolio is based off of yahoo stocks) offer quotes for options? If not, then options probably won't be added. |

| Actually it does. It is very comprehensive in terms of the information that it offers. Just look up the stock symbol and the left hand side of the page has a link for the option prices of the stock. |

But does it support it via a url? In other words, I can do this:
http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=orcl
and get a quote for Oracle. The option list would have to be available the same way.
Never mind, answered my own question.
