I'm wondering if there is a way I can look at other player's portfolio. I'm just curious as to what is doing well for them and what stocks are popular. I'm new at this so maybe don't know something about playing.

Ok I found the answer in FAQ. If I donate 1000 to someone I get to see their current portfolio and if I donate 2500 to them I also get to see all the trades they've made in the past month.

Well I don't have any money now but when I do I'll check it out.

Many of us will share if asked. My current line up includes: BALT, DRYS, EFA, EWA, EWC, EWL, F, GE, GE, LZB, MO, SPY

As mentioned before, I use SDS if the bear starts looking like he's hungry...it doubles down on SPY going the wrong way.

Having said all that....this is play money. My real $$ are safely tucked away in short term government securities and a plain vanilla savings account. I'm taking a heck of a risk on inflation...but inflation is a slow painful process....you don't lose 2 or 3% (or more) in one day.

I track the economic indicators, read articles until my eyes fall out, and when all is said and done....I fold my hands and wait.

My pet theory is that we are seeing the unwinding of the greatest ponzi scheme in history. The baby boomers, with their 401k's etc ran the market up over about a 20 year span. Now they're drawing out in retirement. Less money in the market with the same number of shares only has one way to go....down. Add to that a recession.

One thing to remember though, and many seem to be forgetting....10% unemployment means 90% are NOT unemployed. We have a shifting within the system currently in play. No one knows what the end result will be in the mid term, but the short term is obvious, and the long term doesn't look good for us....unless organized labor starts unionizing some of the other countries. Our biggest problem right now is....we the workers have priced our labor out of the market. Hence jobs going overseas....people lose jobs...and here we are today.

Many things have changed over the last 50 years. We seem to be headed back where we came from....with low interest rates etc. Perhaps the shift will result in more single family incomes. That would be a boon if our "mom"s could raise healthy, well mannered, well adjusted children while "dad"s were the bread winners. It worked once, we'll see what the future brings.

Sorry, just realized I'm rambling. My bad. Embarassed

Ok I discovered the solution in FAQ. If I donate 1000 to somebody I reach see their present portfolio and if I donate 2500 to them I also reach see all of the trades they've created previously month.

Nicely I don't have any cash now but when I do I'll verify it out.
