I have a 30 minute drive to work every day. One of the ladies that I work with has suggested that we car pool. We start next week!! One of us will drive one week and the other the next. With the high gas prices it should save me $50/month.

Is car pool the same as car sharing? Because i know car sharing os for people who dont really use a car that often,...what would be a good i dea is maybe to just rent a car. It oftenly end up cheaper than buying one and paying maintanace + petrol...

I havew carpooled, for convenience and saving the environment- and of course for saving money! It really can't be beat especially if you have two or more attending the same school/job etc.

I think that's a great idea, especially if you get along well with the person you're riding with. Also, some areas like Washington DC allow you to use special "express" lanes if you're carpooling, so you get there faster!

Ya, I agree with all your points. Its great because you save money, help the environment, get there faster, and can have a "fun" ride getting there, instead of just listening to the radio.

go for electric cars. Besides every one looking at you so strangely becasue you are driving an odd looking car, nothing speaks against it. hehe is lighter, chargable and you dont spend hundreds of dollars a year refueling it...hehe...charging power..Smile
