Has anyone had any currency trading foundations & companies guaranteeing returns to them?

I knew a guy that was guaranteed 4% daily when he invested $5000 a month ago. He made up to $4600, but then the site (and company) must have got shut down. He ended up $400 in the hole.

I have now heard of another company guaranteeing similar results, but I am a little leery.

Are there any legitimate companies doing this that can show that they have been around for years and will actually perform (and not go out of business)?
