There are all sorts of ways to invest in gold. You can buy gold-related stocks. You can buy gold futures. You can buy physical bars of gold (but then you have to figure out how to ship or store them). I recently bought some gold coins which is a really easy way to get into the market, other than you have to know not just the price of gold but the numismatic value of the coin as well.

How about providing more detail then? Smile What are you buying? Stocks? Actual metal? That's the sort of information that would be more informative. Razz

Euro hae offers building up around 146.90 , currentlt 146.856 . Rumours of 1.50 + options fueling the build more than likely as it just above a resistance level . this pop in the Euro could bode well for the gold price , which looked precariously poised around $770 and change a close above $810 would be very nice .

Of course, just check up on all the major gold mining corporations. Well actually, some of the smaller ones are better as far as investing goes because they tend to concentrate on gold only (big corporations mine all sorts of metals and gold is just one of many). I've used CDE and TRE for that. Here are some companies that mine gold: http://biz.yahoo.com/ic/134.html

GLD is a ETF that invests in gold in numerous ways, including mining and the physical stuff (in fact, I believe it is the only gold fund that invest in gold bullion)

Investing in a company that mines it, like FCX, is one way. Investing in jewlers is another.

Investing in gold is as easy as thinking about who deals with gold.

considering how strongly tied to the value of the dollar gold is, I would say that gold is a good investment in any form because the dollar is only going to get weaker before it ever gets stronger.
