Never pay with change. Break the dollar and save the change each time. It's amazing how much extra money you will have at the end of the month. |

Ya, it is amazing. I have a big plastic orange juice container, that I put my change into at the end of every day. When it fills up, I bring it to a CoinStar, and it is amazing how much money is in there. I highly recommend doing this!

If you can, try avoiding CoinStar. The 8.9% commission always seemed a little high for my tastes for just counting coins. If you are in the Tri-State area, Commerce Bank will count your coins for free. You do not even have to have an account with them. Check with local banks to see if they can change coins in bulk or if they will even deposit the coins into your account. |
