We have money taken out of our checking account, automatic debt to a savings account every payday. This is good for things like vacations or emergencies...
Brown bag it everyday to work ,you save a bundle that way too!! |

| I second Blueberry's lunch recommendation. Since I have started bringing my lunch (my husband lives close enough to eat at home) I have saved a bundle of money. Also, when I grocery shop I really try and shop the sales and plan my meals around that. |
