The server that hosts the eInvesting board was upgraded this evening. We moved to a more recent version of the mysql database as well as the most current version of php in the 4.x line. Testing this evening seems to show no problems. I'll be monitoring the server over the weekend to see if anything crops up.
If you experience any errors while using the trading simulator or other functions of this site, please post them in this topic. Thanks. |

There are some snafu's that can occur in the prior month's calculation based on the scheduling. It's on the list to get fixed, but that has nothing to do with the upgrades.
I hope.
What happens is in between the close of the market on the last day of the month and the end of the month (midnight) the quote values for some stocks actually change. It screws everything up. What I have planned is to start capturing the end of day stock quotes at end end of the trading day, and archiving them, making them available for the month-end process without having to get new quotes. |
