I will post the official numbers later tonight, but by my preliminary calculations your guess of 371 was essentially dead-on the weekly total of 370.6 and I don't know how you could have been much closer.  |
So, if two of us were within 1%... do I get a bonus also? |

Well...I did get quite a bit accomplished this week....took out 400 points to the upside purt near. Dat still makes Fri the BIG down day fer next week of course. The point total might be mo difficult though....hmmmm....let's see...  I'll go wit 1000 points.  |

Dave has gone missing because he obviously doesn't want to pay me the 1% bonus, soooooooo...
This week's guesses are:
INWB: 294 points
Vetelmo: 420 points
Yandig: 515 points
Grim: 1000 points
So far this week (not including today), the Dow has changed 178.73 points by my count. |

No, not really... and you only get the bonus if you WIN not if you place or show. Work has been murder, I haven't been on in about a week. I will take care of last week's payout and this week's contest tonight. If there are only 4 entries no payout this week anyway; need five players to pay. |

Really, I'm just hoping to take some of Grim's money and benefit from the wonderful predictive qualities of my market randomness model.
I think I might be close again this week, knock wood... excuse me, in the time I typed that the Dow dropped 30 points.  |

FYI - Thats 420 for Vetelmo.
For next week the model recommends I go with 340 points, and guesses Tuesday for the biggest move. I will listen to it. |
