There's not more incentives for you personally if you join single or married but if you are married it just extends your benefits to your family as well. For example, if you join and you wife gets pregnant the military will help with doctors and delivery and everything. it has a lot of benefits for families but if you're single, your girlfriend/fiance won't get any of the benefits unless you're just sharing your paycheck. also, couples can't live on base together unless they're married.
