A PM from Ben convinced me to keep the monthly competition running so you all get until Monday opening bell to get your pick in, just to give some others some time to get a little research behind their pick. So for this month, your beginging price will be as of close Feb 2nd.
You pick a stock and start with the closing price on the last day of the previous month. You have the choice of shorting your pick and your percentage in the red counts for the month end standings
If you wish to change your stock pick, do not edit your reply. Please make a new reply (and send me a PM with your new pick) or your pick will be disqualified.
Stock must be over 5.00 and there is not a maximum price limit.
You MAY choose a stock that is under 5.00 but you will automatically be in the red until it reaches the 5.00 minimum starting price.
Stock symbols must be valid and not have "." symbols in them, just like when using the simulator. Your pick also must trade between normal trading hours.
There is no volume restriction.
The winners are announced at the end of the month.
Oh yeah the winner's prize!!

5th: 5,000
Bonus 2,500 for ending in the black, or red if you shorted your pick! |

 Here, leme help ya. It'll be easier to win ifn ya pick sumthin trading at a 52 week high since by this time next week mosta dat chit'll be down 20%+ But just ta show ya how much I like da competishun I'll go ahead and pick sumthin to da long side and I'll still win! |

My pick is about as stoopid as the rally in ADM this week. And da rally in ADM doan sooprise me nunn cause I already said it would go up and retest the high....even whilst Eric's Balding (cause he can't read a chawt) wassa gettin his axe kicked.  My play? IIG....I hate this POS but it has a few things going for it. 1) It left a nonconfirmed trend top at da 52 week high...dat be waaaay up there at $32, I think dat high goes bye bye....2) It repotes earnuns on Mon, and since everybudy (cept fokes wit no clue) already knows  Earnuns doan mattah! So bring em on and make em as crappy as posssible if yawnto....me no shivagits! 3) I bin playin wit this POS fer 2 weeks now and never got dat really big rally yet....now dat I dumped it into earnuns it should rally. Will I be on bored? Hmmmmmmmmmaybe. |
