Well so much for the forecasts , Yen running into a glass door repeatedly @ 110. ignored there suggestions the 107 swoop was great .

Euro going into hybernation for a little while but will wake up again @ 147.
steered well clear to tough to go with the flow on that one .

JPY/EUR got close enough then ran away .
rode it and reversed , then added to my Yen pos.

The Aussie is trying hard though .

The long term forecast for the dollar is rather simple and always has been. Whenever a country runs long term trade deficits, its currency drops. The combined US trade deficit for 2005 and 2006 was almost $1.5 trillion. It looks like it might break $800 billion this year. That only leaves one direction for the dollar, down.

It is a well kept secret that Canada is actually the lost 51st state, unfortunately, America has such a short memory that we forget we lost one.

ALso, I don't believe dubya about anything...I'm with Lewis Black as I am not even sure that I believe in global warming...now that Dubya has decided he believes it.

The U.S. govmint really can't allow the dallah to fall any further since fokes is beginning to notice dat U.S. companies are being sold off to countries of questionable origin (maybe terrorist countries even Shocked Laughing )....which means that the fearless leaders of dem countries are smart enuff to know it is better to use werthless dollars to pay exhorbitant prices for a steel company or a bank than it is to get stuck holding da bag of werthless dallahs. Confused The US govmint know dis...dats why they have Hank Paulson out a jabberin. I doubt the Bushkies prior to the new Congress n Senate had a clear idea of how quickly the greed would turn to madness...as the dallah got driven to prices even yuns fokes didn expect. Very Happy But rich fokes is like everybody else and extreeeeme vanity is usually the last sign that it is nothin mo than a rich idiot makin da moves....that'w why I mentioned the overpriced condos in NYC. Cool If you think there is ANY other reason besides vanity dat drove dem condo prices higher you should just stay outta da mawkets altogether cause you will absolutely get deeeestroyed no mattah what you decide to invest in...Earl, the dallah, stocks, grains, hard commodities....just STAY AWAY! It's very interesting that the price of gold is going up at the same time. I really hope the dollar reverses this trend.

get a piece of string and tie a piece of gold at one end and a dollar at the other. Drape the string over something...like a dowel rod, now pull either end down, then the other side...do this several times. You are witnessing the age old relationship of gold to the dollar.

IS that why canadians don't like us - I thought it was because we offered Purto Rico to be the 51st state (2 times) and not canada.
