| I had firefox at work but they took it off said it made the network vulnerable?!? go figure. Loved when I had it I liked how you could have several sites open and just tab thru them at the top. of course its safari at home!! |

Given my recent troublesome experience with making a website, I'm bumping this topic so I can get a better idea of how the IE-Firefox-something else break down works.
Thanks for your responses. |

The first thing you should do is setup a free account with google and add their analytics code to every one of your pages. You will then be able to track all of your users based on new/returning, screen resolution, referring site, search keywords, browser type, etc etc.
Once you know a little bit about your audience... then you can code the site appropriately.
For me... Im an IE guy... love the newest version with tabs and my integrated google search box.

I voted for other because at home I only use Opera. I love it. That is after I got familiarized with it. I didn't like it at first because it was so different. After I got used to it though, I don't like to use anything else.
At work I use Firefox though. I despise IE. I call it Internet Exploder. I think that says it all. |
