Negative limit is -100%. Actually, if you purchase a stock you can go lower than 100% due to comissions costs. Ask me how I know...  |

If you bought 1 share of a $2 stock with the $10 commission and it became worth $0 due to the company going down the drain you'd be down about -500% right?
I don't know if the sim would calculate it this way though. |

(2 - 12) / 2 = -500%

His pick - Petco - got an offer to take the company private at a large premium. Unless the deal deteriorates rapidly, there stock should stay up where it is... and it might even gain a little more because the current price is still slightly less than what the offer is for. |
