I'm real happy wit my positioning this week....cept fo da fack dat I eliminated OCCX just prior to the move that would have generated a 10% gain. I give up on dat dawg until it hits my final DA BOTTOM tawget which will qualify it fo entry at da lttle dawg track. Wink This past week I doubled my overall return by doing nuthin mo than playing the swings in my S&P 400 chort...and if anybudy wants ta pay me $2500 to view my trades fer da munth you will see jist how perfectly I traded MZZ....including an inny at da low on Th and an "all outty" yesterday. Now I'm am loaded in cash and loaded fer bear! Sumbody issa gonna hasta stop me! Very Happy

If we see a 2-3% down move for the indices this month I'll catch you, guarantee it. I'm 80% invested for a strong down move, with the remaining amount being in a few stocks which should buck any bad trend.

If the S&P 500 goes below 1300 this month, I'll put e$ that I close the 7% point gap between us that exists now.

Well, I hope I was wise in the decision I made a few minutes ago to put e$ into BA & LMT, due to the latest events in the Peninsula. I really hope nothing happens militarily, but I'm sure the markets have a decent chance of investing as if things are about to happen...

I guess at the end of the week we'll know whether it was best or worst decision I make! Confused

Overall my return dropped from +5% at the end of last week to +4.50% at the close of this week. At the beginning of the week I had a very large position in my play fer the Oct competition, ANTP. I decided to eliminate all but a very small portion of that because (although it is quite possible the 5.10 low was DA BOTTOM) there was a questionable trend low at 6.25 that came in at the gapdown low of 6.25 several weeks back. That trend low dictates a tawget entry zone balow 4.50...so I will wait. Other than that I have begun a more earnest averaging down program in my MZZ S&P 400 chort index fund. I will be adding to that since I believe it will deliver much greater returns than my DOW chort, DOG...I luv dat trading symbol! Laughing MZZ is working its way down to a buy signal as of the close on Fri. Since it is the first time I have worked with an ETF I am anxious to see how the OBV numbers work out...and whether or not MZZ trades like a regular stock. Right now the OBV is only at a slightly neggy -200 on the 10 day chawt. Normally I like to see much lower OBV readings before I take a position. I think MZZ is a pretty good measure of sentiment in that it appears that investors are looking to hedge or even go outright chort but are fearful of da mawkets going into earnings season. The sentiment indicator I am much more familiar with is da VIX volatility index (it signaled buy a week ago Wed and has been selling off ever since, dat's bullish) and we are seeing complacency in the mawkets building as it works its way down to lower levels each and every day of this rally, as the strength of trend (ADX) line flatlines. Based on my lowest trend low reading for da VIX it would dictate a DA BOTTOM entry zone betwixt 7 and 7.50! a low like that would be generated by a blowoff top in da Naz that would take that index to a new 52 week high I'm wreckin. Manny n da Nipulators are working extremely hard to keep this thing afloat going into the midterm elections. I doubt they can do it but of course anything is possible...especially if the average idiot does what they normally do based on a great earnuns repote. Very Happy I have a feeling the reaction to great earnuns will be similar to what we saw in GE though. It will be a veeeery interesting week this coming week....specially wit GOOG reporting on Th. That could set the stage fer Fri.....and of course the following Mon. I promised everybody I would not bring da mawkets down in a big way on a Tue, Wed, er Th and I plan on keeping dat promus. Very Happy

Worst decision, definitely. I lost 2% already on these two, so I'm dumping them Monday morning, just hoping they're up a bit when I knock them off. Another day, another dollar...we hope... Confused

I did well with a spike on BLDP and sold at a 12% gain. I am up with FNSR and in deep on SIRI.
