WOW! Looks like sumbudy dumped 454000 shares ov king HAL as the last trade yesterday! Shocked I wonder if that was Dick Cheney....I mean Arrow Darth Vader. Laughing So fer only 500 shares wertha takers in PM trading wit a high ov 35.70...abouts 1% off da closin numba. I wonder what HAL's gonna do when Dick Cheney moves to Dubai....I know...HAL will move to Dubai! No wait!...HAL is already hiding out in Dubai...my bad. Rolling Eyes Today's Earl inventory repote at 10:30 will be the most important and impotent repote in many a year. The herricane is currently attacking Wall st and da Hamptons in da form of herricane GS. So I'm wreckin da chances ov Earl being rescued by a him er herricane is slim n none at this point. Which leads me to baleave Arrow Da Earl numba at 10.30 HAD BETTER be bullish fer Earl. If not... I am making my new associate DUG a member of my "hit em wit da ugly stick" brigade....along wit Guido n Tony. Wink Enjoy yer day Earlpig fools....and remember to watch yer dividund! Laughing

Yesterday provided a great opportunity fo anyone to make their initial buys in DUG. My cost basis in my real $$$ holdings is slightly abov $43...and my promus is to not sell 1 share until da XOI Earlpig index breaks balow 900. Wink But I did partially scale outta DUG ova heeeya on the recent move abov $50. I tried to pull a "Sim Clickman" and catch the gapdown to 47.90 on the Th bafo da Fed pump but I wasn't quick enuff on da draw, since I doan have the type o'reflexes makin 250+ trades at this site...plus 250 trades at 3 or 4 udder funny muny stock pickin sites obviously gets ya....like da reflexes Sim Clickman has. Laughing BUT! I did add to my DUG position heeeya yesterday at 48.02 and I will most defnutly add on ANY further weakness for a gar-own-teed duble yer muny play ova da next 2 to 12 mumphs. Cool

Grim,

Funny thing, back in late June you were saying the same thing and telling me how I was misleading people to suggest that CVX was a good buy at $80. Now CVX is over $87.

Please, when do you think the oils will drop by 33%? This month? September? 2008? 2009? Inquiring minds want to know.

Tom,
I have a new oil/commodity pricing indicator. It works like this:

Whenever the natives get restless enough that they want to kick Grim off the site, commodities will have a small but sharp correction. Then things quiet down for a bit here on eI, the stocks make new highs, Grim starts crowing again, and the process starts all over...
Normally the whole cycle takes six to twelve months to repeat. Backtest what I'm saying and let me know if it makes for a trading pattern. Wink
