| I dont use e-bay but I imagine that would be quite annoying having people outbid you at the last second. |

I remember that there was quite a frenzy of activity surrounded the 20,000th post... as for eBay auctions, I've never bought anything so I generally like the people who snipe things at the last minute and drive the price up more... I do sell things on occasion for other people, and one time I had something go from $175 to $450 in the last 10 minutes. 
Funny thing was, they thought it would be great to get $100 for it.  |

I am one of the people that snipe on ebay at the last second. I've been successful more times than I've been beat out. I don't see the need to bid way before closing because it just drives the price up outrageously.
I'm actually planning to bid on something that ends tonight at 9 if it remains under my money limit.  I'll let you know how that pans out, lol.
edit: I did win the auction with 12 seconds left til it ended... got a gig of ram for $43. Very happy. |
