I know with the last month's competition there were some comments on minimum holdings, trading verses investing, etc...
That made me curious what kind of trading history results people are getting overall?
For example, when I go to Manage Your eInvesting Portfolio and then View Your Trade History, I am showing seven trades with an overall 11% return. That makes me happy. But am I happy because I have no clue how others are doing? Is my % really pathetic compared to other people here?  The questions!
I think it would be interesting if other people posted their overall return so we could see how we all are doing. Also, I think it would be neat if we had the option of having the overall return put on the left by our monthly return! 
Just a few thoughts! |

I believe that's in the plans. I think we'll also have a "life-to-date" return calculation, so you can see if someone with a 25%+ return for this month has done that well historically, or if they're just having a good month. |

Overll I have 170 trades +2.58% but I also have +99,093.78 e$ most of which was made last month. |

Excellent! Positive results are the goal! Do you typically have a lot of trades going on or are you practicing different methods? I find I am trying slightly different methods, but only on a small number of stocks. I usually try something new each beginning of the month.
On the other hand, I have tried a few things I've learned here in my real portfolio, and done even better there! Without this site, who knows what would be happening! |
