They are very very risky. Furthermore, they often seem tio only last a few weeks, or months. You might want to try a doubler, although it has its pros and cons. One of them would be longshotdoubler.com Smile

From what I have seen with the Doublers:

People who are in early get paid off by the later members. Everyone will continue to double their money until a) a few of the earlier members pull out a sizable portion of their doubled money from the cycle, or b) new membership stalls.

Sort of like gambling I suppose, but I would steer well clear unless you want to play around.

I'm more than willing to answer any questions you may. It seems that since the site crash my forum signature isn't working. The URL for the original thread is: http://www.einvesting.com/viewtopic.php?t=173
But you can feel free to message me directly if you have any questions.

Has anyone used this site that rates HYIPs? http://hyip-navigator.com/ It looks like some of them are stable and reliable but I don't know for sure. Can this rating system be trusted?

Problem i have seen with most HYIP programs as stated they rely on refferals and you can only transfer money through overseas accounts liek E-gold etc... note that none of them will setup a withdrawl from paypal or you checking...This alone tells me to stay away as many of these the only reason they pay out money is due to new signups meaning pyramid scheme.

Exactly, i wouldnt uckfay ithway hattay

99% of the HYIPs are pure ponzis and scams. However, there are some (1% maybe) which really do trade (usually FOREX) and retur good income. Such ones return 3-4% up to 10-12% monthly ROI, which is still pretty well. However you will hardly find them in forums like TalkGold or HYIP rating sites

Generally I would say those sites can be used as a very general guideline, but nothing to go by without doing a good deal of your own research.

The problem with many of the rating sites is that their main criteria is "does the program pay". Any wise scam operator would pay out for the first while to lure in more members before taking off. By the time the rating sites say that the program is no longer paying and is a scam, it's already too late.
Another problem with the vast number of rating sites is that the rating site operator's primary goal is making money, not providing objective and helpful information.

clifton, I would be interested in hearing which HYIPs you feel are legitimate.
