I'm not a noob to forums so I know I definitely should search but I'm at a remote site at a user's desk and need some quick help.
Why can't I purchase "HYMLF.PK" ? Just wondering. Thanks :0) |

Nope, at this time no stocks with dots. They change too often to keep up with them all and most of the time are under $2 anyway.
Sorry.... |

| What exactly do the periods indicate in the stock symbols for companies? Do they indicate a division or entity or subsidiary? |

Sorry, but I guess no one answered this and I never saw it.
The dots are used to indicate a number of things, including
-preferred share status or class A, B, etc.
-exchange the stock is traded on (if its not the NYSE or Nasdaq)
-options
And I'm sure theres something I missed. |
