Well, ya gotta give Carolina at least a shot because they have the best receiver in the NFL, receivers are gamebreakers, that said, the crowd noise in Seattle could be the difference in the game and since both teams are pretty evenly matched I guess I'll go witcha on Seattle, even though I'd rather see Carolina win Very Happy Denver looks like the play in the AFC although I'll be pulling for Pitt! Very Happy The stock market is supposed to react to whoever wins the super bowl each year although the theory that the market will rise if the NFC wins has been put to the test the past 2 years and the streak of that indicator as a forecaster of da mawkets was certainly dissproved in 2004, so I'll do it assbackwards and use da mawkets to tell me who will win da super bowl Very Happy since the Naz showed no signal that the recent 52 week high needs to be taken out any time soon (or far) i'll go out on a limb and say that the ole indicator comes back into vogue which means that the AFC team wins the superbowl and the stock market closes 2006 below where it started, BTW, a good way to bet the spread on the super bowl is to simply take the team with the best record going in no matter what the point spread, using that method would have generated well over 60% winners since the super bowl started, check it out! Very Happy

That would be fun, but the logistics would be very difficult. I can do this for the superbowl though.

I'll get a board and then you tell me how many squares you want. (Maybe 500 e$ a piece since we have 100 squares and they might be hard to sell that many) Then I'll build the board and upload it. Once it's uploaded I'll use a random number generator to put the numbers in the spots and flip a coin for the teams.

If you guys want to do something like this I'll do the legwork. Wink

Kewel! just remember not to put the numbers on da grid until all the spaces are filled, if you are going to put up the numbers along with the empty grid I want to reserve these, both the 0/7's, both the 3/7's, both the 0/7's Very Happy

Right, to keep it fair for those that don't know the best numbers we won't put them in until everyone who wants in is in.

It would be cool if we can fill up the board.

On a sidenote reaper do you just use the "Quote" button on the top right of a post to quote it? If you use that make sure you start your response after the [/quote] tag. I've noticed some of your quotes come out a little off sometimes, heh.

I have no problem with 500 e$ a spot, just cut my numbers in half. If I score big this week in the market, I'll pick up 10 spots. I picked up 9 new positions this morning, and I knocked myself out of the top position. DOH!!!, but if all goes well, I should make out like a bandit.

As far as board postions go for the Pool, So people can pick the spots, how about using letters and numbers like on a chess board. A-K along the top, and 1-10 (not necesarily the real numbers) down from the top. Position A-1 being the top left.

Let me know if you need help. Very Happy

Thats a good idea. That way everyone can get the spots they want and we won't have overlap. If someone didn't real a pervious request and puts down the same spot I'll slide them over.

Ok, I guess I can build the board now then. Smile

I have to say I'm very impressed with your attitude towards this. It's true, you could have just banked the gains by selling out, but what fun is that?

By investing more you took a hit, but if the picks pan out you can have a bigger percentage than before.

I agree that I hope Carolina wins, I'm a Rams fan, and therefore I have no joy in watching the pathetic seahawks go anywhere. Carolina's D could raise a lot of noise, especially if Alexander isn't 100%. However, I don't think much of any team left has a shot vs. Dever. Thier D is too good, and their runner monsters just open up the door for the reincarnated snake.

There you go again. I wasn't involved in this thread, so why the need to take a shot? Its really just unnecessary.
