The market has been at 12,000 is it possible it's correcting upwards?

The big news was the Dow breaking 11,000... which it is now handily under. I don't see any "correction" in sight... I think I've seen someone say the market will crash every week since I've joined.

Oooh, oooh! I resemble dat remark! I also said on many occasions (even before you decided to join us and enlighten us with yer nonsense) that da mawkets never had a serious tumble on a Tue, wed, or Th, so perhaps I will stand to be corrected on dat point, BTW, if I end up being correct about da Naz hitting 2040 (minimum) da fokes who paid attention to me will make more $$$ on that single call of mine than they made on all of your calls combined! I mean... .on all the calls you made as soon as you make one! Laughing

Well you seem to "resent" everything I say, so I don't find that to be particularly important. When did you say the Nasdaq will fall to 2040, and when do you see that happening? That means its going to drop about 10% from what its at right now. And are you saying you should short the index? Thats quite a divergence from your whole penny-stock mumbo jumbo, but I still think its just as stupid. The fact is, the indices go up over time. Unless you can contradict what every professional says about one's inability to time the market, you are fighting an uphill battle here. Isn't there a better place to put your money? I know you'll use that question to show I'm somehow stupid, useless, etc. if I don't offer my own suggestion so I'm going to say I would rather BUY Research in Motion (RIMM) or Internet Japan (IIJI).

Finally! we got a call outta ya! Laughing and you are in luck since both RIMM and IIJI are on sale today, so here ya go, you gots IIJI at 10.60 and RIMM at 68.00, and yes, shorting the overall market is quite a divergence from my take on the penny dawgs, it's called buy low sell high! ever heard of dat? try it sometime cause right now I gots you down for buy high and sell low, just like all dem anal-ysts and professionals you speak so fondly of and give more credit than they are due, we'll be watching your overpriced pigs RIMM and IIJI (new 52 week low pending) just to see how ya does! I don't speak highly of analysts and professionals, and I certainly don't give them credit. I think if you read a few posts of mine, you'll see I often call them on being wrong... not like they care.
You are a real fan of calling everything I pick an "overpriced pig", and I don't know why I'm playing to the lowest common denominator here (you) and actually picking the first random stock that pops into my head. And yes, I am lucky they are "on sale", thats the whole basis of Value Investing.

Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
I like how the eyes roll in unison.

You don't have anything relevant to say, so why not just let it rest?
Do we need to buy ASIMOs and have an e-smackdown?

Pretty simple TA on VCLK, the last major trend low was at 18ish on 12/30, traded to a trend top of 20.60 on 1/8, later confirmed that high with a higher high, it is now in da process of possibly switching from sell mode to buy mode as a buy signal came in just yesterday, but there is nothing on da chawt that says VCLK has to move higher than the 52 week high, so far it is holding the 20.60 trend top high from 1/8, one of 2 things could happen so here be the options.

1. VCLK sells off after this buy signal which would be bullish, wait for the selling to stop and then buy if and only if it gets back up through 20.60 because if it doesn't it will be in trouble, if it does get back up through 20.60 sell all at 23.50ish and short.

2. VCLK rallies off this buy signal which is bearish, short at 23.50ish

Either way I think the play that will offer the best returns will be to short VCLK using out of the money puts at least 2 months out with a target of a retest of at least 18.00 which was the 12/30 trend low price, VCLK more than doubled in 1 year and is trading at or near a 52 week high, a stock like this will not survive the coming market selloff, just my opinion ova heeya! Very Happy

The opinion as stated above was my point and I sho hope anybody who was long paid attention! Laughing
