Why is it that all the top performing portfolio's are held by people who dont post?

Are they doing there home work?
People with several accounts?
Are they to busy doing the research to post?

OR should we learn from them and realize that you might want to pick it and hold it! Life lesson's from the non posters.

Some of it have to do with once the month adding money into your portfolio deludes your results. Also I believfe it has to do with the fact that more people dont post then do so the chance of them getting a high return is there just out of sheer numbers.

I'm one of those non-posters. Benjamin emailed me to let me know I'm in the lead. Sorry, I often just get lazy about this stuff. Or sometimes I just forget. Old age creeping in.

You can turn off that feature in your profile if you get PM'd a lot.

I believe it's called "Notify me via email of a new Private message".

Posting takes up time you could be researching is the down side......the up side is you don't end up with Colt 45 to temple.

I do not think research has a lot to do with it. I think people create accounts and their picks do really badly so they dont come and post. Because of the monthly reset when the stock rebounds they have a high %.

Yea I got PM'd letting me know I was in the top 10.

I wasn't too busy researching to post, my computer crashed a while ago and I haven't been on to check my stocks on this for a while.

Funny thing was, I sold the stocks in real life that I was holding on here a longggggg time ago.

It's hard keeping track of multiple portfolio's, this site has a fantastic simulator though, if I wasn't so busy with real money, I'd definitely be on here a lot more.

Thats quite a view of what could happen Exclamation Shocked

And I think during the Crash in 1929 the preferred way for people who lost all their money to go was jumping off buildings... Exclamation
