FRK received a buyout offer today for $67/share, cash. I will be selling out of my position here shortly. That one is an interesting chart to check out... quite a rebound.
Ah, I forgot - the buyout is at a 40% premium. |

Don't know if you realize it or not, but PBG is not PepsiCo. It's the Pepsi Bottling Group. The symbol for PepsiCo is PEP. The two companies have a relationship similar to Coca Cola and CCE (CocaCola Enterprises) where one makes the products and the other is the primary distribution channel.
PEP includes (along with Pepsico) the Frito Lay, Gatoraid, Quaker, and Tropicana brands. PBG is a bottler / distribution channel. |

I was just about to point that out to him, after I lectured him about stealing my thunder.

Just to add a few more stocks to your radar screens - heading down into microcap territory here (thats where all the best values are )
RELM Wireless (RWC)
Kongzhong (KONG)
US Physical Therapy (USPH)
ExpressJet (XJT)
USPH has done well for me the last week or two, and I recently bought KONG... haven't had the time to do anything in-depth on the others, but maybe I could get some input here. |

PDL Biopharma (PDLI) |
This one looks to be set for a ride up... I've followed this company on and off for about two years, and they have tremendous assets/potential/worth, but they have continually disappointed come time for quarterly results and the stock has gone nowhere... PDLI is a decent sized biotech that has continued to confound me with the lack of results.
I think thats about to change, however, as a hedge fund (Third Point) recently bought a 10% ownership stake and is trying to get the CEO fired. If successful, I think this stock could run up to over $30/share.
If you want some entertainment, I advise reading the letter from Third Point's CEO... |

Kongzhong (KONG) |
Here is a writeup I did to give you an overview of KongZhong (KONG) - I feel it is a very promising company whose prospects aren't reflected in the current share price. KONG Brief
I also encourage you to read the note I linked to in the report; I think it will add to your understanding of where I come from looking at a stock like KONG. |

| Another one to add to your buy list is Freeport McMoRan (FCX), which is one of the world's largest copper producers. Freeport merged with fellow miner Phelps Dodge (formerly PD) in a deal I don't think should have been allowed to go through, alas, it did and now we have a giant combined miner that looks cheap here at $68. I don't think $90 is out of the question, as I see the downside in copper futures as being very limited. |
