Emkie has one of the three!

5000 e$ to emkie, you have to wait for someone else to guess before you go again.

Lets see if we can get another correct answer before I give it away with hints...

You know how hard it is to resist peeking at this point? Perhaps that was the point... Laughing

Okay, this is my last guess, 'cause I'm tired of searching through your old posts. CBI, mentioned in this post as your pick in the Million e$ contest. If that's not it, I'm done. I have no idea what the other non-Apple top pick is either, so this is it for me.

Good job Dave! CBI is my largest holding next to Apple - I took a big position in it right after it dropped 30% in one day... something about all the top executives being fired? Its rewarded me well since then, and I hope it breaks up through $25 again and starts doing something in the Million e$ portfolio contest.

Your payment is on the way, anyone want to take a guess at the last stock? The category is... energy. But remember, its not Valero (VLO).

I answered your PM first, so I had not seen this yet. And this post answers the question from the private message. I knew you had picked CBI for the million e$ contest, but it never kicked in that it would be one of your larger holdings. Then as I was writing the reply to the PM I guessed that you had loaded up after the drop.

So you confirmed that here. Smile How many shares of CBI do you hold in your portfolio now?

I had to work to hard for the last one, I'm out of the rest of this game. Smile

Once upon a time I had a large part of my portfolio in Inco, but I sold it way before it went over $50... there is a theme that things I sell tend to go up alot. Rolling Eyes

Inco isn't the one I'm looking for!
Lets get more specific... mid-cap company, they are in the oil, gas, etc. industry.

If nobody has the answer by Wednesday night, I will post it. You have until then to guess.

Last hint: this oil and gas company has seen its stock increase over 25% since I bought it in early March.

I think it's going to be hard to figure this one out. Based on our PM conversation, I know what the last stock is (I will not post it or share it, so don't worry about that Razz) and even knowing the answer it's hard to find where you've talked about it on the board. And that's after searching for the specific stock symbol. Try it for yourself and see what you get. On the search screen put in the ticker symbol as the search term, put your name as the author, and select the return format as Posts rather than Topics, and see how many hits you get. Smile

I think your money is safe. Wink

About a day left to guess what the final one is. I think people should be able to find out what stock he is holding if they do the right search. Oil and gas and his name will put you pretty close and with some common sense of what thread it might be located in I think someone may get it.
