You may notice a bunch of new users recently.
We have a couple classes that are trying out the Simulator to learn investing. They should not be posting however and are just here to use the Sim.
Please ignore these accounts, but if you notice someone with a number for a name ahead of you in the overall standings they must be learning well! |

The age of consumption is often tied to the age of possession for all restricted / controlled substances regardless of which particular item is in question. If the law states that you need to be 18 to use or possess tobacco or alcohol, then it is a good policy for any such company to not employ minors.
For England, or more appropriately the UK, the law actually reads that those under 18 can legally consume alcohol (beer, port, and cider) in a licensed establishment when ordered by an accompanying adult, as long as it served with a meal (1). However it is pretty clear that purchasing and possessing under the age of 18 is illegal (2). As for selling, it is fairly well known since enough people under 18 work in restaurants and grocery stores that they cannot sell alcohol directly. They need permission (for that particular sale) from a licensee (or any other adult designated, as being allowed to give permission, by the licensee). The store manager can't give 'blanket permission' to the young person.
