I motion that we have a rule that says there are no rules.

Let the paradox arguments commence.

Rules, who needs rules? I think we are all mature enough to not have any except one. The only rule is that no other rules may exist.

Well you have to have SPAM rules or those HYIP guys would rule the board and have all 5 2% spots in about 3 days. Shocked

I don't think its possible to come in and get 1000 posts just like that, even if you just say "ok" in each post... it would be too obvious, and you could just kick them off like you handled that spammer.

That thread is locked, so I never got the chance to comment on how you put him in his place, but yeah. Nice work.

You would be suprised what would happen if Ben did not ban SPAM. Every single posts would be about "Hey this product is awesome buy it for 5.99". It would ruin einvesting. SPAM is bad and annoying.

I hate spamming and trolling, and flaming. I'm in some other forums about computers (I'm a computer nerd) and since they have a mostly teenage demographic as soon as someone says anything 20 people jump in and comment about their mom etc. It's very frustrating when you are trying to find some obscure piece of information and you have to sift through thousands of useless posts.

Hahaha what maturity.

I don't know if there are active anti-spam measures in place here, but the forums are basically free of distracting stuff... I'm quite happy with how its working.
