I am very interested in opening a laundromat business, its a good source of passive income. Does anyone know the basics or something I can read on?

I would say 4-5 years considering I would have to raise capital, draw up a business plan and find a good location. I am relatively young (23) so I really do not have rush. However, I would like to share ideas.
Have you already started a plan? |

No I haven't.
I'm in a very similar boat to yourself. But if the finances work out, I will begin my initial planning within the next 10 years. Perhaps not a laundromat, but it's something to consider.
In the meantime I'm going to be focusing on other investments. No need to rush such endeavours.  |
