Read all of the HP books and have seen all of the movies. This movie left quite a bit out, as will all future movies no doubt as they get progressively longer. To keep it all in, the movies would be 6 hours long (wouldn't get any complaints from me though).

All in all, the movie was enjoyable..

I watched the first 3 movies without having read any of the books. In between the 3rd movie and 4th movie I read all 6 (current) books. My responses are based on that...

First Movie: Great movie, very entertaining, really liked it a lot.
Second Movie: Sucked. There was so much in the movie that (to me) didn't make sense without having read the book to fill in the gaps. And Dobie (the house elf) was too much like Jar Jar Binks. Rolling Eyes
Third Movie: Excellent, probably my favorite of the three that I saw prior to reading the books.

After seeing these 3 movies, as mentioned, I read the books. I felt that the first movie did an excellent job of transferring the book to the screen, the second movie did not, and the 3rd book was adequately represented on the screen.

Then I went to see the 4th movie, which was (as it turned out after reading them all) probably my favorite book. I can't say how I would have enjoyed the movie if I had not read the book... I can say that I was extremely bored during this movie. I took my wife, who is a big HP fan, and she enjoyed it. I was just numb... the movie never grabbed me, never really involved me in any way. I rate it average.

I hope they do a better job on the next movies... although the 5th book was not my favorite at all, so I may skip it. It's got all the potential of an exceedingly boring movie, if you ask me. Smile

If only we could buy futures on the movie contracts for the LAST 3 books, which JP still owns...

Yea I have watched all the movie series and have read all the books as well. I like the story of this movie because it has a different story with magical things.

“Daniel Radcliffe” is my favourite actor in Harry Potter. I truly like his acting style. He was really cute when he’s take action in “Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone”
